On the 10th June, Lewis and Ollie from the Girls Section ran an intro to rugby session for the 2nd Killingworth Brownies. This session was part of an initiative between the RFU and Girl Guiding UK. Previously, we ran a session at their normal venue, and this latest session was held at Sutherland Park.
The girls had a great time learning some basic skills and finished up with a game of touch. They all earned their rugby badges and fingers crossed, we will see a few of them joining the club for next season.
Interested in getting involved?
The club will be running a Try Rugby session for Minis and Girls on 12th July between 12pm and 1:30pm. The aim is to boost numbers for the coming season. Details are on the poster, and you can register at the link below:
