In Holland girls play mixed rugby up until 17, which meant the boys touring team had four girls who were unable to play against the Novos boys. Instead, the Dutch girls played alongside four other Northumberland teams; Novos, Sunderland, Rockcliff and Tynedale.

They played a great game of 13's, with all players get plenty of opportunity to get their hands on the ball and put in a few tackles! A couple of Novos girls played their first game today. Well Done to Olivia for getting stuck in and Katie chasing down everything!

Thanks to Nick and Rob O from the u14/u15 boys for organising a great day and thanks to Waterland for bringing a great rugby spirit to the club. Waterland awarded Jess Clapperton for her performance during the game and Paige Smith for captaining the team and leading from the front.
